The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry(IFCCI), Pune in association with UJA Global Advisory is organized a webinar on Evolving Transfer Pricing Regulations in India on Thursday, 27th March 2025.
The session commenced with welcome remarks by Rucha Awati, Manager – Membership & Events, IFCCI Pune and Olivia Calvet, General Manager – France, International Business Consulting at UJA.
The session was led by Ms. Ritasha Talwar – Senior Partner Audit & Assurance – UJA and Shrushti Agiwal – Analyst Transfer Pricing – UJA with their presentation. The session delved into the history and evolution of Transfer Pricing (TP) in India, covering key topics such as:
- Evolution of Transfer Pricing – Provided an overview of BEPS Action Plan 13, Transfer Pricing Adjustments, Advance Pricing Agreements, and Safe Harbour Provisions.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms – Explained the processes and applicability of APA, Safe Harbour Rules, and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) for resolving disputes.
- Introduction to VSV 2.0 – Covered key aspects of the Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme 2024, including eligible applicants, the application process, payment terms, and its role in expediting appeal resolutions.
- TP-related Proposals in Union Budget 2025 – Discussed amendments related to safe harbour rules and faceless assessment.
- Importance of Robust Documentation – Emphasized the need for benchmarking and comprehensive agreements for international transactions.
