Background: As we are all aware, consumers now practice sustainability-led behavior in their daily life. In view of their changing mind set/preferences and increasing awareness towards sustainable and fair-trade products over the last few years (e.g. preferring products with minimal packaging, minimizing food waste, using energy-efficient appliance, etc.), consumer goods companies and retailers are now aligning their business activities with these ambitions and working together to jointly implement sustainability strategies.
