“Employer and Employee rights around Covid-19 Vaccination”

At present, most organizations are actively facilitating vaccination for their staff and even family members. However, there remains a section of employees who remain hesitant to be vaccinated, the speaker Atul Gupta- Partner, Trilegal, will share his views on such aspects:

• Can vaccination be made mandatory?

• Are there any risks to insisting that employees be vaccinated and/or penalizing them in some form for not getting vaccinated (including potential terminations)?

• Can organizations ask employees about their vaccination status?

• What is the interplay between an employee’s right to decide what they choose to inject in their bodies, vs. some state orders that appear to make vaccinations mandatory?
