IFCCI is organizing its biggest and most sought-after flagship event of the year, the 46th Annual General Meeting on Friday, 29th September 2023.

The AGM is the most awaited and prestigious event of the year, witnessing  250+ top business leaders from French & Indian organizations coming together to deliberate India's journey towards becoming a manufacturing powerhouse and a global supply chain hub for the world, with a strong emphasis on ESG. The presence of eminent dignitaries, business-focused panel discussions, and the release of our flagship publication (Activity Report) are some of the key highlights of the upcoming IFCCI Annual General Meeting, Mumbai.

With India's growing competitiveness, expanding import substitution potential, increasing global demand for local goods, and the expansion of production capacity, India possesses the physical and digital infrastructure necessary to emerge as a leader in manufacturing and the global supply chain. Recent government initiatives such as PLI (Production-Linked Incentives), Gati Shakti, and Make in India 2.0 further enhance this opportunity, creating a robust pipeline for future economic growth. Moreover, there is significant importance placed on the evolving ESG landscape in India, as businesses rapidly incorporate ESG into their overarching business strategies to promote environmentally impactful investing and sustainability.

Given the above background, the theme will be ‘India's Journey: Global Manufacturing, Supply Chain and ESG Practices’.
