Currently, Mr. Vijay is an independent consultant. His areas of expertise include: Economic Analysis, Strategy, International Business & Cross Cultural Impact. Member of the International Linkages Expert Committee of CII. He is a member of the CSR and Economics Expert Committees of the Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr. Vijay was awarded the Knight of the Order of Oranje-Nassau, an honor conferred by the King of the Netherlands on 26th April 2016 by the Netherlands Ambassador to India. He set up the first ever Trade & Investment Office of the Netherlands Government anywhere in the world. This office was based in Chennai and looks after the Southern Region of India.
