Sanjay Singh is the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Territory for BNP Paribas in India. A veteran of the banking and financial markets, Sanjay has been the CEO of BNP Paribas India since September 2021. His previous positions in the Group in India include Deputy CEO of the bank, Head of Global Markets and CEO of BNP Paribas Securities India.
Under Sanjay’s leadership, BNP Paribas India won several awards and industry recognitions including the coveted “India’s Best International Corporate Bank” by Asiamoney in (2022). As Head of Territory for India, Sanjay is responsible for the Group’s strategy in the country, local governance and controls, deepening initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility and promoting Sustainable Finance. Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2013, Sanjay was
Director, Prime Services at Credit Suisse in India. He has also worked with CLSA India (CLSA Asia Pacific Markets) and UTI.

EDUCATION and OTHERS
Sanjay has an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Management Studies, D.A.V.V., Indore.

He holds a Masters Degree in Finance from Lancaster University Management School, England with a specialisation in Derivatives.
