Sangeeta KumarCEO, BNP Paribas India

Sangeeta Kumar is the Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas India the Global Capability Centre of BNP Paribas SA.

She has over 30 years of industry experience including 17 years at Bank of America's (BofA) capability centre. She was instrumental in creating the initial strategy and blueprint for the Global Markets Operations at BofA in India and growing their capabilities across multiple segments.

Before Bank of America, Sangeeta worked at BNP Paribas where she was the Joint Head of Corporate Bank, Multinational Coverage. Sangeeta was pivotal in making inroads into MNC relationships and creating a strong Franchise for the Bank in Indla Sangeeta started her career with Tata Administrative Services, with various roles across the Tata Group.

Sangeeta has initiated several network groups (intra-organisational as well as inter-organisational) and is a strong advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion. She has played a significant role in setting up many DE&l platforms and was the founding member of the Nasscom DE&| Hyderabad Chapter. She has been a speaker across many topics such as Women in Tech, Gender Equality, Maturity of the GCCs @ Nasscom and other industry bodies

Sangeeta is also the Chairperson of the CSR Committee and a Board Member of the BNP Paribas India Foundation.
