A leader with ~16 years of experience in building and managing businesses, Ipsita Das currently works 
as the Managing Director of Moët Hennessy India, part of the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton 
Group, and manages the 30 + wines and spirits brands, besides managing the Chandon Winery in India. 
A physics graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi, Ipsita began her career armed with a postgraduation degree in Strategy and Marketing from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

She worked in multinational companies and technology startups where she managed high performing 
teams. Her earliest experiences include her international stints at Maersk in Denmark, Dubai and India. 
Ipsita was a part of the leadership team of Housing.com in its early days, before she joined Uber as 
the General Manager.

In her first job in Maersk, at 22, Ipsita was the only woman in the team, managing shipping operations 
in Dubai. Post her MBA from Indian school of Business Hyderabad, she joined the startup world of 
technology. At Housing, she launched India’s first ever online rental agreement and at Uber she was 
heading Future Mobility where she launched uber autos, uber electric vehicles, and piloted uber bus. 
In 2019, Ipsita joined LVMH, and today as the Managing Director of Moet Hennessy, she manages 
India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives businesses, and the Chandon winery in India. 


Ipsita is an active part of the Board at the International Spirits and Wines Association of India (ISWAI). 
She is also the Vice President at the Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), one of 
the most active bilateral chambers in India that promotes trade relations between India & France. 
In February 2022, Ipsita was selected in Business World’s 40 under 40 list. 
She was also selected as EuropeIndia40 Leader in 2022, one of the 28 leaders from 16 nationalities, 
under the age of 40 who will shape the future of India/EU – UK Relations. 

Ipsita's understanding of the Indian subcontinent and consumer sentiments have helped shape the company's strategies to cater to the dynamic target audience in the country, and she continues to push the boundary to lead her team with passion and courage.
